DESCRIPTION: The Audio Visual Multimedia Specialist is responsible for planning, programming, and conducting multimedia support including still photography, illustration, video and television production, repair operations, and Video-Teleconference activities. The Audio-Visual Multimedia Specialist is also responsible for integrating text, graphics, video and other multimedia products into mission-related print, electronic media or exhibits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create layouts and videos using computer software packages (e.g. Adobe Premier Pro version 2017 (or later), After Effects version 2017 (or later), and Apple Final Cut version 7)
- Develop 2D and 3D graphics and graphical interactions using multiple delivery methodologies
- Operate and/or maintain multimedia equipment
- Develop multimedia products, integrating text, computer graphics, conventional art, photographs, or other media
- Recommend and implement multimedia solutions for the Government’s communications/ marketing campaigns
- Design and/or create artwork and graphics for print, electronic products, exhibits, or displays using tools such as MS Publisher
- Edit audio files using Adobe Audition 3, Audacity, or similar software
- Design graphics using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Collaborate with SMEs from an array of disciplines to produce visual products containing complex information that can be absorbed at executive levels
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph
- An active and current government clearance is required to be considered for this work.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years cumulative experience in the capabilities above (Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree)
- Two (2) year’s experience within the last five (5) years using Adobe Premier Pro version CS5 and at least one (1) of the following software tools identified below: After Effects version 2017 (or later), Apple Final Cut Version 7
