CRC is looking for a Research Scientist with experience designing and conducting field experiments in support of remote sensing research.

DESCRIPTION:
CRC is looking for a Research Scientist with experience designing and conducting field experiments in support of remote sensing research.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with a team of spectral scientists to develop experiment objectives and translate into ground truth collection test plans.
- Plan, lead, and execute ground truth collection experiments in the field and in office settings.
- Serve as test director during collaborative ground truth tests.
- Operate spectrometers and data collection instruments as needed to meet test objectives.
- Familiarity with chemical processes and phenemoneology associated with chemical reactions. Interact with mission partners and advocate for NGA/R research goals.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI access in place at time of hire
- Greater than 15 years experience with some post Master's Degree course work
