CRC has an immediate need for a Senior Socio-Cultural Analyst (Chinese) at Fort Meade, Maryland
DESCRIPTION: In support of United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM); conduct all-source analytic production of socio-cultural elements, human terrain, and human geography for the Mandarin region of China.
PRIMARILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides accurate reading, writing, speaking skills, as well as provide cultural understanding regarding geopolitical, economic, and social issues including, but is not limited, to religious, linguistic, ethnic, social, tribal, and occupational domains with respect to geography and resources to characterize the dynamics of groups of people worldwide. Incorporates expertise sociology, cultural anthropology, demography, psychology, geography, economics, and political science.
- Conduct research, HUMINT intelligence collection and analysis.
- Provide accurate written gist’s, translations of transcripts, video, and audio sources, from the target language to English and vice versa while preserving the original meaning and intent of the original source
- Assist and guide teams in researching multifaceted of critical problems
- Work in collaboration with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
- Will develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products or defense intelligence.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph
- An active and current government clearance is required to be considered for this work
- Master’s degree and 12 years of experience working as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst with a Sino Asian focus
- Bachelor’s degree and 17 years of experience working as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst
- Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
- Ability to structures analytic questions based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
- Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
- Ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
- Ability to guide teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction

COMPENSATION

Base salaries at CRC are determined by various factors, including work location, an individual’s education, knowledge, skills, experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected salary range for this position is $105,000 to $130,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of CRC’s total compensation package.
