DESCRIPTION:
Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, code, and test spectral algorithms
- Optimize computer code
- Incorporate PED algorithms into FSTK & SLICE
- Provide enhancements to existing FSTK/SLICE code bases
- Provide software modules to integrate into web-enabled processing systems
- Skills: FSTK, SLICE, C2S, ENVI/IDL, C, C++, Python, Java/Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, HTTP, RESTEasy, JBoss Hibernate, JBoss DROOLS, MySQL, Apache Tomcat, PHP, GIT, spectral analysis
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI access in place at time of hire
- Greater than 9 years experience with Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline (may substitute 7 years of additional relevant work experience for Bachelor's and 3 years for a Master's Degree)
