JOB SUMMARY: CRC has an immediate opening for a Senior Intelligence Planner (Intelligence Plans Integration) located in Fort Meade, Maryland
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
- Provides intelligence support to 24 x 7, 365 day-a-year Intelligence Watch position in support of J2/Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC) as required.
- Assists the JOC Intelligence Watch Officer to understand, manage, and mitigate incidents on the DoDIN. Manage and disseminate daily single source reporting related to USCYBERCOM Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs).
- Develops and disseminates brief books, alerts, and briefing slides.
- Updates, maintains, and posts intelligence products on USCYBERCOM /J2 websites on the NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, NSANet and other networks as required.
MINUMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience as an All-Source Analysis Intelligence Planner
- Possess demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures
- Ability to monitor adversaries and threats, providing contextual analysis of findings, and conducting data transfer authority duties
- Possess experience working in a shift environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
- Ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information
- Possess experience with intelligence tools and databases such as Tripwire Analytic Capability, Intellipedia, Palantir, MIDB, Cyber Common Operating Picture (CyberCOP), Target Knowledge Base, Cyber Threat Matrix
- Possess ability to develop, manage, and update threat indicators and levels for specified cyber threat entities
- Possess ability to monitors daily traffic, databases, and tools for indicators and new threat trends and report when indicators or threat levels change
- Possess ability to report and brief changes in indicators and threat levels
- Possess ability to use logic and systematic approaches to gather, evaluate, and synthesize multiple sources of information
- Possess ability to interpret analysis to include, but is not limited to, its meaning, importance, and implications
- Possess ability to defend analytic judgements with sound, logical conclusions and adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information, evolving conditions, or unexpected developments
- Possess ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), electronic / soft copy matrices and / or web-enabled formats
- Possess ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally
- Possess proficiency using Microsoft Office tools
- Possess ability to develop structured research including, but not limited to, obtaining, evaluating, organizing, and maintaining information within security and data protocols
- Possess ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information
- Possess ability to guide teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems
- Possess the ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced
- Possess ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
- Master’s degree or have Bachelor’s degree plus an additional 5 years of experience, for a total of 17 years
