JOB SUMMARY: CRC has an immediate need for a Subject Matter Expert Level I in Fort Meade, Maryland.
DESCRIPTION:
Participate in and support the conduction of deliberate planning for Platform Information Technology (PIT) or control systems in support of action officers.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Apply advanced knowledge of DoD network architecture and operations to analyze and define solutions for PIT.
- Assess threats and vulnerabilities of PIT and recommend appropriate strategies to defend or exploit them.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of DoDIN operations, U.S Cyberspace operations community architecture, and potential defensive capabilities for countering Cyber threats.
- Assess operational risks and issues, develop effective courses of action (COAs) and mitigation strategies, and coordinate actions for PIT planning in support of Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) conduct of Joint operational planning process activities.
- Use engineering methodologies to develop concepts for assessing PIT system resilience.
- Coordinate planning efforts across members of the DoD community and access current scientific and technical intelligence products for awareness of threats to PIT systems.
- Top Secret security clearance with CI Polygraph in place (no exceptions)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting DoD international or domestic affairs activities
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline in the area of expertise from an accredited college or university
