JOB SUMMARY: CRC is in need of a Senior Targeting Analyst in Fort Meade, MD

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop targets and target systems for joint lethal and / or non-lethal engagements.
  • Develop Target-nominations, create database records, and databases target intelligence products.
  • Produce all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assists with combat assessment requirements.
  • Conduct collateral damage estimation, perform target list management, target strategy development, and provides joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements.
  • Provide recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations. 
  • Provide database nominations, create, and update database and uploads TMs into databases.
  • Assist in developing the processes and procedures to facilitate combat target development IAW CJCSI 3122.06C, CJCSI 3160.01A, CJCSI 3370.01A, CJCSM 3370.01, and CJCSM 3375.01, battle damage assessment (BDA) IAW CJCSM 3162.01, dynamic targeting IAW Joint Publication 3-60, and combat target enterprise management (training, automation, standardization, exercise coordination, and readiness), to United States Cyber Command (USCC) Commander, the USCC J2, J3, J5, and SJA staffs, and the USCC Components. 
  • Assist with long range planning and coordinate intelligence and combat targeting efforts within USCC, with USSTRATCOM, other Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, Military Targeting Committee, and the Intelligence Community. Use intelligence tools, including Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB) interfaces such as National Production Workshop (NPW) and Joint Targeting Toolbox (JTT).
  • Apply a wide-range of research and analytic tools and techniques to conduct target systems analysis, target development, and BDA, and to provide recommendations to the J2, J3, J5, and USCC Components to conduct OCO/DCO-RA. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess the ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures
  • An active and current government clearance is required to be considered for this work.  
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience actively working as a Targeting Analyst, All Source Analyst, or Intelligence Analyst
  • A Master's Degree

  • Possess ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Possess ability to use logic and systematic approaches to gather, evaluate, and synthesize multiple sources of information
  • Possess ability to interpret analysis to include, but is not limited to, its meaning, importance, and implications
  • Possess ability to defend analytic judgments with sound, logical conclusions and adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information, evolving conditions, or unexpected developments
  • Possess ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), electronic / soft copy matrices and / or web-enabled formats
  • Possess ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally
  • Possess proficiency using Microsoft Office tools
  • Possess ability to develop structured research including, but not limited to, obtaining, evaluating, organizing, and maintaining information within security and data protocols
  • Possess ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information
  • Possess ability to guide teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems
  • Possess the ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced
  • Possess ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
  • Experience supporting Defense Warning Program efforts
  • Possess ability to update and manage threat indicators for cyber threat entities
  • Possess analytical skills to monitor, assess new threat trends and report
  • Experience with conducting reports and briefs changes in indicators and threat levels
  • Experience providing support to meetings related to assigned area of responsibility
  • Bachelor’s degree plus an additional 5 years of experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute for the Master’s degree

COMPENSATION

CRC offers a generous benefits package for full time employees, including 4 weeks PTO accrual for new employees with increases at milestone anniversaries, 11 paid holidays, employer-paid life and disability insurance, optional supplemental life insurance, family health, dental and vision benefits with no waiting period, 401(k) with up to 6% employer match available after 30-day waiting period, generous tuition assistance for higher education or career related certifications, flexible work schedules, and opportunities for referral bonuses.

Base salaries at CRC are determined by various factors, including work location, an individual’s education, knowledge, skills, experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected salary range for this position is $118,000 to $141,500. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of CRC’s total compensation package.
