JOB SUMMARY: CRC has an immediate need for a Network Engineer to deliver services to our DIA client in Quantico, Virginia
DESCRIPTION
Designs, engineers, integrates, implements, tests, deploys, maintains, reviews and administers the infrastructure, hardware and software that are required to effectively manage the security and risk posture of the network and resources. Develops system concepts and applies the systems engineering lifecycle to translate strategic cyber objectives, technology and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions. Selects and applies processes and methodologies to meet cyber performance objectives. Analyzes trends and emerging technology for potential program modernization. Configures cyber systems to meet user requirements. Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as needed. May provide work leadership for lower level employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor, analyze, and detect Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks.
- Consult on integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to administer Cybersecurity operational services, including intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness of network intrusions, security events and data spillage, and incident response actions.
- Participate in testing, deploying, and administering the infrastructure hardware and software which are required to effectively manage the organization’s Cybersecurity operational services.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph
- 10 years of experience in IT, Cybersecurity, Information Operations, or Computer Network Defense
- Knowledge of DoD intelligence processes
- BA or BS degree
- Experience in the DoD IC
- Security+ or CEH Certification
