JOB SUMMARY: CRC has an immediate need for a Desktop Support Technician 2 to support our customer in San Antonio, TX.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install and configure new desktop devices; VOIP phones, computers (thin and thick clients with peripheral devices), KVM, printers, etc.
- Diagnose and resolve Tier 2 related incidents and service requests for end-user devices; i.e.; computing devices, MFDs, VTC systems, LMR, telephony devices,
- Perform problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary.
- Accurately record, update and document service requests using the IT service desk system.
- Resolve incidents and replace hardware and software
- Maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
- Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI access and FS polygraph
- PRIVAC Systems 1 Certification Required
- 8570 Security + Certification Required
- High school/GED and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience, Associate’s degree and five (5) years of experience, Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience
