Description
JOB SUMMARY: CRC has an immediate need for an Information Technology Web and Multimedia Specialist Level 4, to support our NGA client in Springfield, VA.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Develops content, and maintains associated systems for agency internal and/or external web sites, including sites hosted on classified networks. Plans, designs, and performs content enhancements and/or updates to websites. Recommends best practices, develops guidance and content standards, and ensures best practices and quality standards are met and maintained. Designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools. Uses a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools. Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special effects elements. Contributes to the design group's efforts to enhance the appeal of the organization's online offerings. Designs the website to support the organi7.ation's strategies and goals relative to external communications. Requires knowledge of web-based technologies including browsers, ASP pages, HTML code, object-oriented technology, and graphics software. Ensures website content is current, accurate, and reliable. Ensures websites are available to desired audience with appropriate links and security designed into system and maintained. Provides advice on strategies to maximize available content on distributed servers. Installs, configures, operates, and advises on the acquisition of multimedia equipment, and supporting media products. Provides technical support for meetings, conferences, teleconferences, video-teleconferences, and multimedia projects supporting public relations objectives and strategic objectives of the government office. Provides remote-access training via video teleconferencing, and video production. Plans, executes, directs, and edits multi-media project productions in support of government customer task requirements and strategic objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extensive graphic design or multimedia production experience.
- Thorough knowledge of web design principles.
- Proficiency with web publishing software and protocols (FTP, HTTP).
- Experience with relational databases such as: Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, and SQL Server.
- Experience with SQL and CGI scripting.
- Experience defining style guides used across an organization..
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Position Requirement 1 Familiarity with relational database management systems; Proficiency with Java Scrip, JQuery, and HTML; familiarity with SQL.
- Position Requirement 2 Thorough knowledge of basic Web design principles; Proficiency with Web publishing software and protocols; Familiarity with Internet Protocols
- Position Requirement 3 Experience that demonstrates good written and oral communication skills and strong customer service skills; Experience that demonstrates ability to work on a team;
- Position Requirement 4 Exceptional computer skills and proficiency on PC platforms; Proficiency with Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, and Cold Fusion; Proficiency with at least one markup and scripting language.
- Position Requirement 5 A basic understanding of UNIX file structure and capabilities
- Position Requirement 6 Experience designing and building Web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools; Experience designing and developing user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements; Proficient in managing, designing, and developing Microsoft SharePoint technologies
- Position Requirement 7 Ability to analyze organization’s strategies and goals relative to external communications to develop an effective Web site; Able to advise and assist a design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s online offerings
- Position Requirement 8 Three years of Web design or development experience with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Sciences, Business, Information Technology, Graphic Arts.
- Position Requirement 9 Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - Years of experience 11-14 years
- Position Requirement 10 Desired Skills: 10+ years of experience with database systems and storage architectures; Experience with server-side programming languages, including PHP and Perl.
- Position Requirement 11 Desired Skills: Experience with C-Shell, JSON, or ColdFusion; Experience with jQuery, Subversion, and Tableau. - Desired Skills: Experience with UNIX and Linux; Experience with SQL, HTML, and JavaScript; Experience with dynamic Web Page Development.
- Position Requirement 12 Desired Skills: Knowledge of developing custom database scripts, queries, and graphical interfaces related to GEOINT storage and dissemination; Knowledge of GEOINT data, formats, structures, and standards.
