JOB SUMMARY: CRC has an immediate need for a Counterintelligence SME to deliver services to our DIA client in Quantico, Virginia
DESCRIPTION
Candidate is a key adviser for 60+ staff to enable counterintelligence collection operations. Leverage experience as a counterintelligence subject matter expert to support language enabled collection activities focused on countering foreign intelligence, international terrorist, and insider threats. Candidate works with a team of CI special agents, staff officers, and support personnel to develop, test, and implement appropriate methodologies and practices. Candidate drives the future of classified collection capabilities, applying innovative expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver CI technical advise to government customers and linguists
- Track documents through their life cycle to ensure accuracy of collected information
- Review and revise intelligence products to verify collected information is properly sourced, accurate, and compliant
- Provide input to technical SOPs and lessons learned documents
- Conduct technical interviews and interpret cyber data concerning suspicious CI and information assurance (IA) incidents to ascertain a CI interest and document reportable information.
- Must be capable of extracting information from digital media to support a CI activity.
- Gather and analyze all data that supports the CI activity for which the media is being analyzed, in accordance with the latest forensics guidance from the digital forensics community and internal SOPs..
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph
- 10 years of experience as a badged and credentialed CI Special Agent obtained from one of the accredited U.S. Service, Law Enforcement, or Intelligence Community CI academies AND bachelor's degree
- 7+ years' experience with Master's degree
- Experience in multiple facets of the Counterintelligence field including Collection, Investigations, Support to Force Protection, Functional Services, Analysis and Production, Support to HUMINT, etc.
- Possession of an aptitude for technology and an aptitude for pursuing technological solutions
- Ability to maintain accurate and highly detailed operational records
- Knowledge of a variety of research tools, services, and practices
- Ability to coordinate activities amongst multiple agencies
- Ability to provide oral presentations and instruction related to collection capabilities, concepts, techniques, and best practices
- Minimum bachelor's degree required
