JOB SUMMARY: CRC has a need for a Mid Digital Media Forensics Examiners to serve our customer in Fort Gordon, GA.
DESCRIPTION: Candidate shall provide highly qualified personnel to support the CI and HUMINT mission. Services include support to intelligence, analysis, cyber, forensics, technology protection, and computer science. The Contractor personnel must have knowledge of Intelligence Cycle, Intelligence Support/Role in the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), CI Flags and knowledge of Foreign Intelligence Entity (FIE) Tactical Technical Procedures (TTPs), knowledge of Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A), and knowledge of HUMINT collection operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support for CI and counterterrorism (CT) investigations; research, design, deploy, and lead training events; evaluate emerging forensic technologies; provide operational security assessments; and support cyber forensic and cyber security tasks.
- Responsible for all phases of the forensic examination of digital media, including on-site and off-site evidence acquisition/seizures, forensic analysis, and reporting, while maintaining chain of custody and following rules of evidence.
- Provide support for incident response activities, intrusion events, and malware analysis
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the position, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
- Must be a graduate of any of the following Military Department Counterintelligence Agent Certifying Courses: Army – Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC), Army – 351L Course (or its predecessor), Army – 35E Course (or its predecessor), Air Force –Basic Special Investigators Course (BISC), U.S. Air Force Special Investigations Academy, or predecessor, Navy – Special Agent Basic Training Program (SABTB), Naval Criminal Investigative Service Training Academy, or predecessor.
- Must have DoD Certified Digital Forensic Examiner (DFE) certification.
- Must possess one of the following qualifications: Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) or EnCase Certified Examiner
