JOB SUMMARY: CRC has a need for a Security Specialist Level 3 (NGA) in Springfield, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shall provide leadership with adjudicated eligibility of access nominations
- Ensure that entries into JPAS, PeopleSoft and Scatter Castles are updated and accurately reflect personnel clearances
- Perform program indoctrinations, debriefings and re-indoctrinations to all personnel requiring briefing or with programmatic questions
- Ensure that safes at have functioning combinations, drawer level accesses are up to date, and that all electronic and paper records indicating status of safe inventory are updated
- As tasked, make security recommendations in preliminary investigative reports
- Perform all tasks associated with the badge making process to include operating and maintaining the badge machine and necessary materials.
- Ensure that paperwork needed for facility accreditation and credential issuance for co-use agreements are completed within established timelines and as determined in project parameters.
- Deliver updated classification guidance for program personnel and standard operating procedures when tasked and within timeline
- Perform program closeout when tasked; all documentation, debriefings and badge updates will be completed within allotted timeline
- Complete site assessments, coordinate annual site visits, new site installations and decommissioning of sites
- Ensure that appointed Release Control Officers are compliant with appropriate security guidance, procedures, and policy by providing appropriate training when tasked
- Enhance program security policies as efficiencies and areas of improvement are identified and assist in preparing security-training materials
- Active TS/SCI security clearance granted by DOD
- POSITION REQUIREMENT 1: Significant experience in a distinct functional or cross-functional security areas (e.g., personnel, physical, industrial security; computer investigations; classification management; operational security; security education, etc.)
- POSITION REQUIREMENT 2: Experience may be broad based, crossing multiple markets (e.g., government, industry) and may also include relevant and associated certifications and knowledge of applicable tools, methodologies, or best practices.
- POSITION REQUIREMENT 3: Experience directing the activities of security specialists as necessary on activities related to the specified field or discipline.
- POSITION REQUIREMENT 4: Must obtain DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification IAW DoD Manual # 3305.13M within 1 year of service start date.
- POSITION REQUIREMENT 5: Experience working in a fast-paced team environment, and have strong written and verbal communication skills
- POSITION REQUIREMENT 6: SAP experience
- POSITION REQUIREMENT 7: 7+ years of experience including 3+ years within DoD/IC *** and *** 2+ years of SMS and CAC
- POSITION REQUIREMENT 8: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
