JOB SUMMARY: CRC has an immediate need for a Network Technician Level 1 to support our customer in Fort Gordon, GA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Resolve incidents and upgrade network devices (routers, switches wireless access points, etc.)
- Install, move, add, change, and delete network devices, connections, and cabling
- Perform troubleshooting on network system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure efficiency of network
- Inspect network infrastructure and repair minor or major network problems/bugs
- Test, maintain and repair network hardware and peripheral devices
- Evaluate network performance and find ways of improvement
- Organize, schedule, and perform system upgrades and maintenance
- Provide technical direction to co-workers on computer and network usage and offer comprehensive advice and instructions
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI access and FS polygraph
- PRIVAC Systems 1 Certification Required
- 8570 Security + Certification Required
- High school/GED and a minimum of four (4) years of experience, Associate’s degree and two (2) years of experience
