JOB SUMMARY: CRC has a need for a Mid Research Analyst Analysis Specialist to serve our customer in Fort Meade, MD.
DESCRIPTION: Candidate shall provide Research Analyst Analysis Support services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature.
- Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
- Identifies, monitors, and assesses foreign intelligence efforts attempting collection of sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities and interests, including threats posed by emerging technologies to U.S. operations and interests.
- Applies understanding of foreign intelligence capabilities / activities and U.S. and foreign partner CI capabilities and TTPs for in-depth analytic research and production of all-source CI studies and contributes to developing CI strategies.
- Conducts, develops, produces, and presents programs of instruction in specified collection operations TTPs, and related or supporting processes, relevant to the various human intelligence and technical intelligence operations under DoD authorities.
- Provide research and analysis of existing and emerging threats and vulnerabilities to the Army Commanders and their Staff.
- Provide recommendations regarding the management, coordination, and training executed by the Detachment on a daily basis. Army Operations Security Detachment (AOSD) missions provide external OPSEC support to Army Units, both within the CONUS and OCONUS. These missions provide advice and assistance to commanders on the threats to and vulnerabilities of their static base operations, training exercises, and operational deployments.
- Analyze and develop recommendations regarding the Operations Calendar to ensure requirements levied are executable against current tasks to ensure there are no conflicts, and training requirements are synchronized with operations.
- Conduct analysis and provide reports on personnel operations tempo to Government Team/Branch/Division Chiefs.
- Provide an analysis of finalized products, including Damage Assessments, Threat Assessments, and OPSEC Assessments to supported organizations.
- Monitor and disseminate all operations orders received from higher headquarters and ensure completion of all required administrative tasks and Army mandatory training.
- Conduct analysis and provide recommendations to the commander on the training readiness of the unit.
- Analyze and compare unit compliance with AR 350-1 training requirements, and additional requirements levied by the higher headquarters and the unit commander.
- Provide analysis of trends within the Battalion for use in future planning and efficiency improvement. Provide recommendations for the scheduling of training events. Process requests for training for all Detachment personnel.
- Maintain a training calendar for contractor personnel.
- Maintain training files for contractor personnel.
- Analyze and report the status of required training across the detachment.
- Analyze and provide recommendations for the coordination of resources for training and in the unit’s knowledge management processes.
- Provide actual versus planned task expenditures, technical progress made, schedule status, travel conducted, meetings attended, issues, and recommendations.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree required (HS Diploma and 4 years of related experience for a total of 12 or Associate's and 2 years of related experience for a total of 10 years may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree)
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Must have experience with AR 381-12 (Threat Awareness and Reporting Program); AR 381-20 (US Army Counterintelligence); AR 381-10 (US Intelligence); and DoDI 5240.23 (CI Activities in Cyberspace).
