JOB SUMMARY: CRC has an immediate need for an experienced All-Source Analyst with strong knowledge of AFPAK AOR and willingness to deploy to Afghanistan for up to 6 months per year. The Deployable All Source Analyst assists the DIA Intelligence Integration Center's staff in analytical process assessments with the goal of improving the quality, timeliness, and availability of intelligence products supporting DoD policy maker priorities and achieving DIA strategic goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect, analyze, and produce intelligence reports using All Source Analytic best practices
- Collect and collate data, research, analyze, and write detailed briefs, papers, and reports using academic writing style for capability/historical, political, socio-cultural concepts of AFPAK AOR
- Prepare and deliver findings to senior leadership including general and flag officers and SES-level clients.
- Prepare and deliver products related to tactics/ideology of AQ, ISIS, ISKP, Taliban and other local and regional militant groups in the AOR.using DIA tradecraft standards
- Conduct strategic all source political and military analysis addressing military and security organizations and related issues within regions, countries, and or locations as designated by the Government.
- Monitor existing events, regional political and military leadership, security and military forces capabilities and intentions, and order of battle; and produce strategic assessments and intelligence products to meet requirements as designated by the Government.
- Provide strategic level products on foreign military, security, and related political issues including, but not limited to:
- Foreign military organizations (including paramilitary and irregular warfare units)
- Maritime, Air, and Conventional forces (including capabilities and limitations)
- Command structure and force disposition
- Equipment, operations, and exercise facilities
- Supporting infrastructure and lines of communication
- Regional military capabilities and regional military commitments
- Military and related civilian leadership and leadership intentions
- Decision-making processes
- Defense and security policies
- Defense relations with the U.S. and other countries
- Active TS/SCI clearance, CI Poly preferred (Candidate must pass CI Poly)
- Bachelors degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Ability to produce academic-style briefs, papers, reports, and memos to be presented in person to general and flag officers and SES-level clients
- At least 3 years' experience in intelligence analysis in the AFPAK AOR
- Prior deployment experience in the AFPAK AOR
- Minimum 6 month deployment to Afghanistan required
- Experience with a combination of the following tools: MS Office, TAC, Palantir, RMT, QLIX, Analhyst Notebook, WIRe, NSA Pulse, DCTC Current, TIDE, MIDB/NPW, OSE, JANE, Cornerstone, RemoteView, Analyst Notebook, Google Earth, HOTR/CHROME
- C4I analytic experience is highly desired
- Additional language capabilities welcome in Persian Farsi, Dari, and Pashto
